How To Uninstall ratmenu On Debian 9

To uninstall ratmenu just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ratmenu

Creates X menus from the shellDebian 9.0x112.3.22+b2
sudo apt-get remove ratmenu

This will remove just the ratmenu package itself.

Uninstall ratmenu and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ratmenu

This will remove the ratmenu package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ratmenu then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ratmenu

Or similarly, like this ratmenu

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ratmenu
