How To Uninstall ray On Debian 9

To uninstall ray just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ray

de novo genome assemblies of next-gen sequencing dataDebian 9.0science2.3.1-4+b1
sudo apt-get remove ray

This will remove just the ray package itself.

Uninstall ray and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ray

This will remove the ray package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ray then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ray

Or similarly, like this ray

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ray
