How To Uninstall rc On Debian 9

To uninstall rc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rc

sudo apt-get remove rc

This will remove just the rc package itself.

Uninstall rc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rc

This will remove the rc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rc

Or similarly, like this rc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rc
