How To Uninstall rcconf On Debian 9

To uninstall rcconf just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rcconf

Debian Runlevel configuration toolDebian 9.0admin3.2
sudo apt-get remove rcconf

This will remove just the rcconf package itself.

Uninstall rcconf and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rcconf

This will remove the rcconf package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rcconf then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rcconf

Or similarly, like this rcconf

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rcconf
