How To Uninstall rdiff-backup-fs On Debian 9

To uninstall rdiff-backup-fs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rdiff-backup-fs

Fuse filesystem for accessing rdiff-backup archivesDebian 9.0utils1.0.0-5
sudo apt-get remove rdiff-backup-fs

This will remove just the rdiff-backup-fs package itself.

Uninstall rdiff-backup-fs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rdiff-backup-fs

This will remove the rdiff-backup-fs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rdiff-backup-fs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rdiff-backup-fs

Or similarly, like this rdiff-backup-fs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rdiff-backup-fs
