How To Uninstall rdiff On Debian 9

To uninstall rdiff just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rdiff

Binary diff tool for signature-based differencesDebian 9.0utils0.9.7-10+b1
sudo apt-get remove rdiff

This will remove just the rdiff package itself.

Uninstall rdiff and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rdiff

This will remove the rdiff package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rdiff then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rdiff

Or similarly, like this rdiff

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rdiff
