How To Uninstall rdmacm-utils On Debian 9

To uninstall rdmacm-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rdmacm-utils

Examples for the librdmacm libraryDebian 9.0net1.1.0-2
sudo apt-get remove rdmacm-utils

This will remove just the rdmacm-utils package itself.

Uninstall rdmacm-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rdmacm-utils

This will remove the rdmacm-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rdmacm-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rdmacm-utils

Or similarly, like this rdmacm-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rdmacm-utils
