How To Uninstall rdnssd On Debian 9

To uninstall rdnssd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rdnssd

IPv6 recursive DNS server discovery daemonDebian 9.0net1.0.3-3
sudo apt-get remove rdnssd

This will remove just the rdnssd package itself.

Uninstall rdnssd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rdnssd

This will remove the rdnssd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rdnssd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rdnssd

Or similarly, like this rdnssd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rdnssd
