How To Uninstall rdp-readseq On Debian 9

To uninstall rdp-readseq just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rdp-readseq

Ribosomal Database Project (RDP) sequence reading and writingDebian 9.0java2.0.2-2
sudo apt-get remove rdp-readseq

This will remove just the rdp-readseq package itself.

Uninstall rdp-readseq and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rdp-readseq

This will remove the rdp-readseq package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rdp-readseq then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rdp-readseq

Or similarly, like this rdp-readseq

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rdp-readseq
