How To Uninstall rdtool-elisp On Debian 9

To uninstall rdtool-elisp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rdtool-elisp

Emacs-lisp rd-mode for writing RD documentDebian 9.0text0.6.38-4
sudo apt-get remove rdtool-elisp

This will remove just the rdtool-elisp package itself.

Uninstall rdtool-elisp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rdtool-elisp

This will remove the rdtool-elisp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rdtool-elisp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rdtool-elisp

Or similarly, like this rdtool-elisp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rdtool-elisp
