How To Uninstall realpath On Debian 9

To uninstall realpath just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just realpath

coreutils realpath transitional packageDebian 9.0oldlibs8.26-3
sudo apt-get remove realpath

This will remove just the realpath package itself.

Uninstall realpath and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove realpath

This will remove the realpath package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for realpath then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge realpath

Or similarly, like this realpath

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove realpath
