How To Uninstall recoverjpeg On Debian 9

To uninstall recoverjpeg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just recoverjpeg

recover JFIF (JPEG) pictures and MOV moviesDebian 9.0graphics2.6.1-1
sudo apt-get remove recoverjpeg

This will remove just the recoverjpeg package itself.

Uninstall recoverjpeg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove recoverjpeg

This will remove the recoverjpeg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for recoverjpeg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge recoverjpeg

Or similarly, like this recoverjpeg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove recoverjpeg
