How To Uninstall redmine On Debian 9

To uninstall redmine just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just redmine

flexible project management web applicationDebian 9.0web3.3.1-4
sudo apt-get remove redmine

This will remove just the redmine package itself.

Uninstall redmine and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove redmine

This will remove the redmine package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for redmine then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge redmine

Or similarly, like this redmine

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove redmine
