How To Uninstall redsocks On Debian 9

To uninstall redsocks just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just redsocks

arbitrary TCP connection redirector to a SOCKS or HTTPS proxy serverDebian 9.0net0.5-1
sudo apt-get remove redsocks

This will remove just the redsocks package itself.

Uninstall redsocks and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove redsocks

This will remove the redsocks package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for redsocks then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge redsocks

Or similarly, like this redsocks

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove redsocks
