How To Uninstall reel On Debian 9

To uninstall reel just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just reel

Celluloid::IO-powered HTTP serverDebian 9.0ruby0.6.1-4
sudo apt-get remove reel

This will remove just the reel package itself.

Uninstall reel and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove reel

This will remove the reel package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for reel then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge reel

Or similarly, like this reel

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove reel
