How To Uninstall refind On Debian 9

To uninstall refind just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just refind

boot manager for EFI-based computersDebian 9.0admin0.10.4-1
sudo apt-get remove refind

This will remove just the refind package itself.

Uninstall refind and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove refind

This will remove the refind package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for refind then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge refind

Or similarly, like this refind

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove refind
