How To Uninstall regexxer On Debian 9

To uninstall regexxer just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just regexxer

visual search and replace tool using Perl RegexDebian 9.0devel0.10-3
sudo apt-get remove regexxer

This will remove just the regexxer package itself.

Uninstall regexxer and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove regexxer

This will remove the regexxer package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for regexxer then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge regexxer

Or similarly, like this regexxer

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove regexxer
