How To Uninstall regina-normal-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall regina-normal-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just regina-normal-dev

development files for Regina, the topology softwareDebian 9.0libdevel5.1-1
sudo apt-get remove regina-normal-dev

This will remove just the regina-normal-dev package itself.

Uninstall regina-normal-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove regina-normal-dev

This will remove the regina-normal-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for regina-normal-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge regina-normal-dev

Or similarly, like this regina-normal-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove regina-normal-dev
