How To Uninstall rekall-core On Debian 9

To uninstall rekall-core just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rekall-core

memory analysis and incident response frameworkDebian 9.0utils1.6.0+dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove rekall-core

This will remove just the rekall-core package itself.

Uninstall rekall-core and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rekall-core

This will remove the rekall-core package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rekall-core then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rekall-core

Or similarly, like this rekall-core

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rekall-core
