How To Uninstall remake On Debian 9

To uninstall remake just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just remake

GNU make fork with improved error reporting and debuggingDebian 9.0devel4.1+dbg1.1+dfsg-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove remake

This will remove just the remake package itself.

Uninstall remake and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove remake

This will remove the remake package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for remake then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge remake

Or similarly, like this remake

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove remake
