How To Uninstall remctl-server On Debian 9

To uninstall remctl-server just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just remctl-server

Server for Kerberos-authenticated command executionDebian 9.0net3.13-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove remctl-server

This will remove just the remctl-server package itself.

Uninstall remctl-server and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove remctl-server

This will remove the remctl-server package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for remctl-server then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge remctl-server

Or similarly, like this remctl-server

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove remctl-server
