How To Uninstall renameutils On Debian 9

To uninstall renameutils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just renameutils

sudo apt-get remove renameutils

This will remove just the renameutils package itself.

Uninstall renameutils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove renameutils

This will remove the renameutils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for renameutils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge renameutils

Or similarly, like this renameutils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove renameutils
