How To Uninstall reniced On Debian 9

To uninstall reniced just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just reniced

renice running processes based on regular expressionsDebian 9.0utils1.21-1
sudo apt-get remove reniced

This will remove just the reniced package itself.

Uninstall reniced and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove reniced

This will remove the reniced package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for reniced then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge reniced

Or similarly, like this reniced

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove reniced
