How To Uninstall reportbug On Debian 9

To uninstall reportbug just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just reportbug

reports bugs in the Debian distributionDebian 9.0utils7.1.7
sudo apt-get remove reportbug

This will remove just the reportbug package itself.

Uninstall reportbug and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove reportbug

This will remove the reportbug package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for reportbug then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge reportbug

Or similarly, like this reportbug

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove reportbug
