How To Uninstall resample On Debian 9

To uninstall resample just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just resample

Resamples a sound file using a FIR filterDebian 9.0utils1.8.1-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove resample

This will remove just the resample package itself.

Uninstall resample and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove resample

This will remove the resample package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for resample then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge resample

Or similarly, like this resample

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove resample
