How To Uninstall retroarch-assets On Debian 9

To uninstall retroarch-assets just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just retroarch-assets

RetroArch assets for XMB, GLUI and ZarchDebian 9.0otherosfs1.3.6+git20160731+dfsg1-1
sudo apt-get remove retroarch-assets

This will remove just the retroarch-assets package itself.

Uninstall retroarch-assets and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove retroarch-assets

This will remove the retroarch-assets package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for retroarch-assets then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge retroarch-assets

Or similarly, like this retroarch-assets

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove retroarch-assets
