How To Uninstall retroarch On Debian 9

To uninstall retroarch just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just retroarch

Simple frontend for the libretro libraryDebian 9.0otherosfs1.3.6+dfsg1-1
sudo apt-get remove retroarch

This will remove just the retroarch package itself.

Uninstall retroarch and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove retroarch

This will remove the retroarch package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for retroarch then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge retroarch

Or similarly, like this retroarch

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove retroarch
