How To Uninstall rgbpaint On Debian 9

To uninstall rgbpaint just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rgbpaint

simple pixel-based painting programDebian 9.0graphics0.8.7-6+b1
sudo apt-get remove rgbpaint

This will remove just the rgbpaint package itself.

Uninstall rgbpaint and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rgbpaint

This will remove the rgbpaint package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rgbpaint then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rgbpaint

Or similarly, like this rgbpaint

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rgbpaint
