How To Uninstall rhash On Debian 9

To uninstall rhash just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rhash

utility for computing hash sums and magnet linksDebian 9.0utils1.3.3-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove rhash

This will remove just the rhash package itself.

Uninstall rhash and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rhash

This will remove the rhash package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rhash then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rhash

Or similarly, like this rhash

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rhash
