How To Uninstall rhino On Debian 9

To uninstall rhino just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rhino

JavaScript engine written in JavaDebian 9.0interpreters1.7.7.1-1
sudo apt-get remove rhino

This will remove just the rhino package itself.

Uninstall rhino and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rhino

This will remove the rhino package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rhino then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rhino

Or similarly, like this rhino

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rhino
