How To Uninstall ripper On Debian 9

To uninstall ripper just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ripper

scrape licenses out of filesDebian 9.0devel0.0~git20150415.0.bd1a682-2
sudo apt-get remove ripper

This will remove just the ripper package itself.

Uninstall ripper and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ripper

This will remove the ripper package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ripper then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ripper

Or similarly, like this ripper

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ripper
