How To Uninstall ripperx On Debian 9

To uninstall ripperx just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ripperx

GTK-based audio CD ripper/encoderDebian 9.0sound2.8.0-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove ripperx

This will remove just the ripperx package itself.

Uninstall ripperx and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ripperx

This will remove the ripperx package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ripperx then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ripperx

Or similarly, like this ripperx

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ripperx
