How To Uninstall ros-roscpp-msgs On Debian 9

To uninstall ros-roscpp-msgs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ros-roscpp-msgs

sudo apt-get remove ros-roscpp-msgs

This will remove just the ros-roscpp-msgs package itself.

Uninstall ros-roscpp-msgs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ros-roscpp-msgs

This will remove the ros-roscpp-msgs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ros-roscpp-msgs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ros-roscpp-msgs

Or similarly, like this ros-roscpp-msgs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ros-roscpp-msgs
