How To Uninstall rosbash On Debian 9

To uninstall rosbash just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rosbash

Assorted shell commands for using Robot OS with bashDebian 9.0utils1.13.4-2
sudo apt-get remove rosbash

This will remove just the rosbash package itself.

Uninstall rosbash and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rosbash

This will remove the rosbash package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rosbash then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rosbash

Or similarly, like this rosbash

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rosbash
