How To Uninstall rospack-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall rospack-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rospack-tools

command-line tool for retrieving information about Robot OS packagesDebian 9.0utils2.3.1-1+b3
sudo apt-get remove rospack-tools

This will remove just the rospack-tools package itself.

Uninstall rospack-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rospack-tools

This will remove the rospack-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rospack-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rospack-tools

Or similarly, like this rospack-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rospack-tools
