How To Uninstall rpm2cpio On Debian 9

To uninstall rpm2cpio just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rpm2cpio

tool to convert RPM package to CPIO archiveDebian 9.0admin4.12.0.2+dfsg1-2
sudo apt-get remove rpm2cpio

This will remove just the rpm2cpio package itself.

Uninstall rpm2cpio and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rpm2cpio

This will remove the rpm2cpio package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rpm2cpio then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rpm2cpio

Or similarly, like this rpm2cpio

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rpm2cpio
