How To Uninstall rrdcollect-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall rrdcollect-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rrdcollect-dbg

debugging symbols for rrdcollectDebian 9.0debug0.2.10-2+b3
sudo apt-get remove rrdcollect-dbg

This will remove just the rrdcollect-dbg package itself.

Uninstall rrdcollect-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rrdcollect-dbg

This will remove the rrdcollect-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rrdcollect-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rrdcollect-dbg

Or similarly, like this rrdcollect-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rrdcollect-dbg
