How To Uninstall rsbackup On Debian 9

To uninstall rsbackup just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rsbackup

rsync-based backup utilityDebian 9.0admin3.1-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove rsbackup

This will remove just the rsbackup package itself.

Uninstall rsbackup and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rsbackup

This will remove the rsbackup package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rsbackup then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rsbackup

Or similarly, like this rsbackup

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rsbackup
