How To Uninstall rsyncrypto On Debian 9

To uninstall rsyncrypto just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rsyncrypto

rsync friendly encryptionDebian 9.0utils1.13-1
sudo apt-get remove rsyncrypto

This will remove just the rsyncrypto package itself.

Uninstall rsyncrypto and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rsyncrypto

This will remove the rsyncrypto package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rsyncrypto then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rsyncrypto

Or similarly, like this rsyncrypto

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rsyncrypto
