How To Uninstall rsyslog-czmq On Debian 9

To uninstall rsyslog-czmq just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rsyslog-czmq

ZeroMQ protocol support for rsyslog via CZMQDebian 9.0admin8.24.0-1
sudo apt-get remove rsyslog-czmq

This will remove just the rsyslog-czmq package itself.

Uninstall rsyslog-czmq and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rsyslog-czmq

This will remove the rsyslog-czmq package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rsyslog-czmq then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rsyslog-czmq

Or similarly, like this rsyslog-czmq

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rsyslog-czmq
