How To Uninstall rt4-db-mysql On Debian 9

To uninstall rt4-db-mysql just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rt4-db-mysql

MySQL database backend for request-tracker4Debian 9.0misc4.4.1-3
sudo apt-get remove rt4-db-mysql

This will remove just the rt4-db-mysql package itself.

Uninstall rt4-db-mysql and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rt4-db-mysql

This will remove the rt4-db-mysql package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rt4-db-mysql then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rt4-db-mysql

Or similarly, like this rt4-db-mysql

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rt4-db-mysql
