How To Uninstall rt4-extension-nagios On Debian 9

To uninstall rt4-extension-nagios just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rt4-extension-nagios

merge and resolve Nagios tickets in RTDebian 9.0perl1.01-1
sudo apt-get remove rt4-extension-nagios

This will remove just the rt4-extension-nagios package itself.

Uninstall rt4-extension-nagios and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rt4-extension-nagios

This will remove the rt4-extension-nagios package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rt4-extension-nagios then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rt4-extension-nagios

Or similarly, like this rt4-extension-nagios

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rt4-extension-nagios
