How To Uninstall rtirq-init On Debian 9

To uninstall rtirq-init just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rtirq-init

startup script for realtime-preempt enabled kernelsDebian 9.0misc20150216-2
sudo apt-get remove rtirq-init

This will remove just the rtirq-init package itself.

Uninstall rtirq-init and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rtirq-init

This will remove the rtirq-init package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rtirq-init then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rtirq-init

Or similarly, like this rtirq-init

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rtirq-init
