How To Uninstall ruby-ace-rails-ap On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-ace-rails-ap just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-ace-rails-ap

ajax.org Cloud9 Editor (Ace) for the Rails asset pipelineDebian 9.0ruby4.1.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-ace-rails-ap

This will remove just the ruby-ace-rails-ap package itself.

Uninstall ruby-ace-rails-ap and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-ace-rails-ap

This will remove the ruby-ace-rails-ap package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-ace-rails-ap then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-ace-rails-ap

Or similarly, like this ruby-ace-rails-ap

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-ace-rails-ap
