How To Uninstall ruby-actionpack On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-actionpack just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-actionpack

web-flow and rendering framework putting the VC in MVC (part of Rails)Debian 9.0ruby2:4.2.7.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-actionpack

This will remove just the ruby-actionpack package itself.

Uninstall ruby-actionpack and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-actionpack

This will remove the ruby-actionpack package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-actionpack then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-actionpack

Or similarly, like this ruby-actionpack

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-actionpack
