How To Uninstall ruby-activejob On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-activejob just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-activejob

job framework with pluggable queuesDebian 9.0ruby2:4.2.7.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-activejob

This will remove just the ruby-activejob package itself.

Uninstall ruby-activejob and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-activejob

This will remove the ruby-activejob package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-activejob then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-activejob

Or similarly, like this ruby-activejob

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-activejob
