How To Uninstall ruby-acts-as-api On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-acts-as-api just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-acts-as-api

sudo apt-get remove ruby-acts-as-api

This will remove just the ruby-acts-as-api package itself.

Uninstall ruby-acts-as-api and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-acts-as-api

This will remove the ruby-acts-as-api package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-acts-as-api then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-acts-as-api

Or similarly, like this ruby-acts-as-api

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-acts-as-api
