How To Uninstall ruby-algebrick On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-algebrick just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-algebrick

Algebraic types and pattern matching for RubyDebian 9.0ruby0.7.4-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-algebrick

This will remove just the ruby-algebrick package itself.

Uninstall ruby-algebrick and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-algebrick

This will remove the ruby-algebrick package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-algebrick then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-algebrick

Or similarly, like this ruby-algebrick

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-algebrick
