How To Uninstall ruby-appraiser On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-appraiser just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-appraiser

simple rubygems subcommand for GemfileDebian 9.0ruby0.2.0-3
sudo apt-get remove ruby-appraiser

This will remove just the ruby-appraiser package itself.

Uninstall ruby-appraiser and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-appraiser

This will remove the ruby-appraiser package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-appraiser then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-appraiser

Or similarly, like this ruby-appraiser

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-appraiser
