How To Uninstall ruby-arel On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-arel just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-arel

SQL AST manager for RubyDebian 9.0ruby6.0.3-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-arel

This will remove just the ruby-arel package itself.

Uninstall ruby-arel and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-arel

This will remove the ruby-arel package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-arel then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-arel

Or similarly, like this ruby-arel

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-arel
